Projechotomy || Dichotomy of Light is a mapped projection installation that explores the tension
between coal and wood pellets, also known by biomass, in the context of energy solutions. The
project utilizes projection techniques on constructed supports made from materials like coal and
pellets, and also shaping symbolic elements like chimneys found in the production process of both
sources, but also representing a strong pollution symbol. To craft the narrative, I employ artistic concepts such as audiovisual deconstruction, visual metaphors, and analogies between industrial and
natural spaces.

Dichotomy of Light
Offers a critical exploration of energy sustainability, questioning the validity of
so-called green alternatives like wood pellets. By visually deconstructing existing energy solutions, the
installation connects the environmental challenges faced by Poland and Portugal.
It urges a reevaluation of global energy transitions and emphasizes the need for genuinely sustainable
practices.
